Friday Night Cocktail Gala kicks off the Garden State Film Festival weekend with the red-carpet premiere of “The Legend of Juan Jose Mundo” starring Anna Mirodin, Hannah Kepple, and Alexandro Byrd with special guests in attendance.
Synopsis: Set in suburban NY in 1984. Julie Gornick hosts a charismatic, larger than
life Spanish exchange student. As he starts hooking up with the girls in her class, Julie falls in love with him. Or what she thinks is love.
The screening will be followed by a Filmmaker Talk Back session, providing a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the movie.
The evening will wrap up with an after-party, in the Soundbooth Bar @ The Asbury Hotel lobby making this an unmissable event!
